HOUSES AT THE GREEN SCHOOL
The house system aims to give students an identity and sense of pride in a supportive, secure environment. They bring life to the school and symbolize the Four different ‘Houses’
- Green House (Hz. Abu Bakr House) : First Caliph (Khalifa) of Islam. He was the first among the companions to accept Islam. He was a close friend and companion of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
- Yellow House (Hz. Umar House) : Second Caliph (Khalifa) of Islam. He was a man of extraordinary genius, one of the most just rulers in Islam.
- Blue House (Hz. Uthman House) : Third Caliph (Khalifa) of Islam. He had a beautiful handwriting because of which Prophet (PBUH) appointed him as one of the scribes of Wahy (Revelations).
- Red House (Hz. Ali House) : Fourth and last Caliph (Khalifa) of Islam. He was first cousin of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). A strong built man with exemplary courage, he was among the close helpers of Prophet (PBUH). His memory was so that once he hears anything from Prophet (PBUH) he would never forgets it.
Students have to wear their respective house dresses on Friday.
